Is it my imagination or was Bob Crow less belligerent than the current RMT leadership? We had no more than a couple of strikes a year when Crow was still around,I'm sure.

Dont be cynical Pennes. Theyre thinking about our safety as their first, second and third priorities. It just so happens by chance that more money, benefits and holiday for them makes us safer.

Got to get from Newbury Park to Clapham Common so should be fun.
Planning to go to Whitechapel and then get the overground to Clapham North and walk, if possible?
Pressuming the Central line will be running as far as Mile End and then I can try to get the Metropolitan line to Whitechapel hopefully?

Re: Tube Strike tomorrow
Even the London Mayor is staggered that it has gone ahead!

According to him the offer on the table is excellent.

All these strikes are not about safety, it's all about bringing the Country to its knees.
